Police security camera system operational from today


The security camera system installed within Colombo will be operational from today, December 21 in order to tighten security within the city, Police Spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakoddy said.

A special police team has been appointed to inspect the footage while the Spokesman also claimed that this system will be implemented in all the cities in the country in an effort to stamp down on crime.
